The Norman was one of Jess Design's very first models. It is characterised by its clean, effortless lines that create a beautiful sense of unity, for example, in your restaurant, living room or study.
The great thing about the Norman is that the frame and upholstery can be customised according to your exact requirements.
Jess's home base has always been in the city of Oss, where their design and production processes are still located—an authentic Dutch product.

AURULA LEATHER
Aurula combines the finesse of an oily finish with the rugged, authentic character of Buffalo skin. The skins are mainly dyed with chromium, which gives the leather a smooth, soft feel. The leather is processed with aniline dyes to ensure that no natural skin characteristics are covered. The greasy, leathery feel is achieved with a finish of various types of refined mineral oils. Aniline dyes also help leather maintain a soft, warm feel. Due to the open structure of the leather, it is prone to stains. Light scratches can be buffed out manually by hand or with a soft, non-fluffy cleaning cloth.
OLD GLORY STEEL FRAME
The frames boast distinctive properties and processing tracks that beautifully embody the charm of vintage design. On an Old Glory frame, weld seams and machine marks are intentionally visible, highlighting its authentic character. These frames are crafted to evoke a nostalgic, vintage aesthetic.
