Care and cleaning:
Use lukewarm or cold water and mild soap to wash the exterior. Never use harsh solvents, ensuring you remove mud after each use. Allow boots to air-dry naturally, away from direct sunlight and artificial heat sources like heaters or radiators, which can cause cracking. Apply a small amount of olive oil/rubber conditioner to restore the original finish. Use a rubber-specific conditioner or 303 Protectant.
Vulcanised: The main rubber upper and sole use vulcanised technology for the highest quality bonding and strength. For seam-free, superior wear and waterproofing.
Comfort and foot support: The contoured footbed is engineered for optimal support, featuring arch and heel cushioning. An additional footbed is included with every pair to create a multi-fit option. This accommodates all foot shapes.
Durability: The rubber outer shell and sole have been designed to withstand a long life of extensive wear. Flex and abrasion tested with a reinforced
Toe and heel. Internally lined with a soft, breathable neoprene for superior warmth and comfort.
Traction and tread: The signature Onwuad sole and tread pattern have been modified for optimal performance in all conditions and on all terrain.
A deeper tread design and a microtexture enhance grip and provide superior traction control in rain and snow.
The Bawa Boot runs approximately half a size larger than standard sizing. Its fit is designed to accommodate thick socks and a variety of foot shapes for all-day comfort. If the boot feels a little roomy, we recommend placing the second supplied insert underneath the fitted footbed for a more secure fit. This can reduce the fit by around half a size, depending on your foot shape.
Each pair includes a fitted ergonomic footbed with arch support, plus an additional flat footbed for a more flexible fit. These can be worn separately or together to help you find the best fit for your foot shape and comfort preference.
Note: because the Bawa runs approximately half a size larger than standard sizing, customers who usually wear an EU 43 may find the EU 42 a better fit.
