A moldable & foldable straw hat with a creased crown. Soft and versatile with an upturned brim.
Horisaki has developed an elastic / stretch band to make their hats easier to wear. It makes the hat sit very comfortably on your head and can be worn down in colder weather and/or as a detail. More flexible in size.
One size hats always come with elastic lining and are sized 54 - 60.5cm.
All hats are handmade and hand stitched. Therefore, variations in shape, form and colour, as well as measurements in the brim and crown, may occur. Measurements will also vary depending on how the wearer shapes the hat.
No stiffening is used in the hat-making process, which makes the hats soft and comfortable with good travel abilities.

100% TOQUILLA STRAW
Toquilla straw, or what is usually called Panama straw, is made from fibres of ‘Carludovica Palmata’, hand-woven in Ecuador. Washed and hand dyed to enhance the softness and set the tones of colour. The dying technique creates an irregular natural look.
Natural: unbleached natural colour of the fibre.
Tan: Hand-dyed / pigment dyed. The colour will change and get a beautiful patina with time.
